Larry joined Aaron’s, Inc. (NYSE: AAN), a leading omnichannel provider of lease-purchase solutions, as Vice President, Strategy and New Business Development in February of 2017. Larry is responsible for leading store transformation initiatives, evaluating new business opportunities, and leading M&A efforts.
Larry previously served as Senior Director of Corporate Innovation – Active Aging Platform at Kimberly-Clark in Atlanta. There he developed an active aging domain expansion strategy and identified and evaluated 10 acquisition candidates; commercialized two new active aging businesses (including a new technology platform) using new business models with $250MM in net sales potential; and facilitated a 30 person cross-functional ideation program that identified 70 plus new product concepts in the aging space.
Larry also was the Director of Strategy & New Business Development – Global Nonwovens at Kimberly-Clark where he led new market product development efforts including development of Block-It® branded building materials that delivered $5M in sales in first year of launch. Before Kimberly-Clark, he was Senior Group Manager of Enterprise Strategy at Target developing growth strategies to respond to the Amazon business model and collaborating with merchants to lead the evaluation and due diligence of 5 partners for a $300M digital entertainment opportunity. He also has experience as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and as a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen.
He is also the co-founder of BSchoolJobs.com, a company dedicated to providing Jobs interview preparation tools aiding candidates necessary interview skills for investment banking, sales & trading, marketing, and consulting interviews. He has held leadership positions as Senior Group Manager of Enterprise Strategy for Target, Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Co. and started his career with Arthur Andersen.
Larry has an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Information Systems Auditor.
Maher lends his expertise in IT, Audit and Strategy to the Rausch Advisory Board to provide guidance and direction for the evolution of the firm.
Maher received his MBA in Strategy; Marketing from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. He received his BBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
